Ever wonder why that big ole dumpster arrives every spring at the pool grounds, and leaves shortly after the pool closes? We do also.
Really, that wonderful huge container just sitting there waiting to have stuff thrown into it.
Our neighborhood Dumpster Days are a thing of the past, because people were throwing huge items like couches and what- not into the dumpster, and would leave other big items sitting by the dumpster. The additional cost to have those items removed was deemed to expensive by the HOA board of directors
Well imagine our surprise one fine summer day, when a pickup truck was seen throwing into it, various construction debris. You know, things like sheet rock, boards, old carpet, that type of stuff.
Upon informing the pickup truck's driver that this was private property and dumping was not allowed, we were promptly told that the pool manager (by name) told him it was ok. "She runs the place", direct quote. How nice.
And we, as dues paying residents are not allowed to use it? Or is it posted somewhere that we can? I'm sure the rental of said dumpster is paid out of association funds.
Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, doesn't it?
