Hello to all of you,
Been a little busy and glad it was warm today. Got to thinking about this and din't know if I already tole you about my wife's fambly.
Em Jaes little sister she's marred to a guy last name of Simpleton.
The Simpletons is from down by Quay and they got them one of them homes
in the Shadder Mountain over there acrost Memorial where they only pays
$75 a year for HO dues. Then they can join the Brunig Tree pool or the
Park Plaza or anywheres they want to take them triplets Rayon, Nylon and
little Polly Esther (and all the other'n of their kids) to swim. (I'd be remiss if I din't tel you that Park Plaza only charges $50 and Sungate only $72 a year for HOA fees and you can join the pool if you have any desire to. Now they have some real smart people over there who figgered that all out, don't you think?)
They
talked to people who don't live in the Burnished Tree who said why, we
got us pool memberships at the Bernie Tree for $50 about a couple of year ago, even though they
been making eveone who lives in there pay them $250. So the Simpletons loaded up
the kids in the Rambler station wagon and come looking at the Burned Tree
pool.
Someone said they heard it was a Olympic sized pool and they
wanted to see one. Welp, Em Jaes sister she looked it up on the internet
to see how big Olimpic size is and that Burnt Tree pool is way under
Olimpic size. And that one drama woman at that meeting she said she
knows pools real well cause she bought a foreclosed on house with a pool
and she swore up and down that that pool'd cost a million dollars to
build. Several of them folks next day called up pool companies who said
why sure they'd be willing to build one the size of the one that Birthed
Tree has, if someone was fool enough to pay that fer it. Well, when
they tried to calmly explain that to her she got up and stomped out in one of her huffs
again, regular as clockwork. Well, come to think of it there might have just been something keeping her regular as clockwork, that she needed to go do.
The Simpletons just love the idear of paying so little for one of them
associate memberships and they can load up the whole family there ever
single day all day long for ...... Now they did the math....my bother-
in-law, Mr. Simpleton is so good at ciphering. He figgered out with the 6
kids and 9 grandkids and he and the misses all coming in ........ that
is 17 and where can 17 people be entertained all day, --like 10 hours a
day, ever single day 'cept Monday from Memorial Day to Labour Day (That is about
90 days, per summer..Wow 90 days of fun....10 hours a day fer 17 people). Someone divide that out to see what it is costing per hour to
come over to use the BMTA pool.
And don't forget the
absolutely free food (hot dawgs once a month and another party each
month- Memorial Day, that thing in June and Aug and 4th of July and
Labor day) for the ones who go to the pool...so that sure nuf does save
on the grocery bill and lowers the cost of that fine Burning Tree
associate membership. Specially if you tell the kids they don't need
to eat no breakfast- They can eat all they want off of the people who
live in the Burned Out Tree and have been forced to paying assessments
under duress....yep, they thow them parties for us. Idn't that nice?
My sister-in-law Misses Simpleton loves that when she take all them noisy kids to the pool she don't have to watch none of them for 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. She can lay out there with her bathy suit on and her flowered swim cap and soak up the sun and get all tanned like she been in some tanning booth where she'd have to pay to get that color.
Chili's had one of them commercials on the tv where 2 can eat for
$20. A little high don't you think when I kin take Em Jae out for
anniversary dinner...down to the QuikTrip where she loads up three of
them hotdogs. She is so cute licking the chili/cheese/mustard mixture offen each of her chubby little fingers.
Now it is a whole differing story when we celebrex Little Willene's
birthday dinner. Nothing will do but dinner is 'tator tots and green
jello. Don't know why she insists on doing that when we could do like
her Simpleton cousins and just celebrate when they is having one of
them "free-for-all" who goes to the pool dinners. We tole her that was
why we had her to be borned in the summer was so's she could always have
one of them real nice cellybrations at the Buried Tree pool. Why they
have bought up all kinds of decorations like them 4th of July decorations and and acktually thow all kinds of assesment money in the water for those
who go to the pool to jump in a d DIVE FER DOLLARS ...just help themselves to, and you can eat and eat and eat to your hearts content and it is all FREE. Kids enjoy that pool so much you couldn't drag one out of there, for a potty break for nothing.
Better get off here. Em Jae is hollering that she wants the computer to look up a recipe for Couch Potatoes that she keep hearing everybody talking about. She can't find it in her Betty Crocker cookbook her aunt Eunice give her when we got marred.
